We may fall in love with someone somewhere, including the teachers in our colleges, and to ban teacher-student relations constrains human nature. Besides, the love affair between Hannah Arendt and Heidegger as well as Susan Sontag and Philip Rieff, to some extent, helped these women become more successful in their future career.
