China's urban unemployment rate falls to 5.2% in April

China's surveyed urban unemployment rate stood at 5.2 percent in April, down 0.2 percentage points from the previous month, official data showed on Monday.
The National Bureau of Statistics said the average surveyed urban unemployment rate for the first four months of the year was 5.3 percent.
In the Government Work Report released in March, China set a target of creating more than 12 million new urban jobs this year and keeping the surveyed urban unemployment rate at around 5.5 percent.
