Mohammad Jan Aminzai, a merchant from Afghanistan selling carpets and rugs, said it was his third time attending such a fair in Xizang. He brought handmade woolen products.
"I have brought more than 800 carpets of different kinds this time," Aminzai said. "Every time I come to the fair, my business is very good."
Tashi, a resident of Lhasa, was delighted to see such a wide selection of imported goods, saying: "This is my first time to attend an imported goods fair in Lhasa. I absolutely adore the bronze wares from Pakistan and the wooden bowls from Bhutan."
Tashi noted the fair's timing, which gives shoppers great options before the upcoming New Year holiday.
