Hukou Waterfall roars to life after heavy upstream rainfall

The Hukou Waterfall of the Yellow River, located at the junction of Shanxi and Shaanxi provinces, has recently come roaring to life following heavy rainfall in some upstream areas, creating unique landscape resembling a "double-flavor hot pot", where turbid waves roll in the west and clear water flows in the east.
The Hukou Waterfall is a great wonder in the Yellow River Basin. The Yellow River flows through the Shanxi-Shaanxi Gorge area. The water surface suddenly shrinks from three to four hundred meters wide just over 50 meters before falling into a stone trough with a drop of more than 30 meters, resembling a giant pot filled with water.
