PRC history documentary to air on CCTV
A documentary highlighting 70 years of achievements since the founding of the People's Republic of China will screen Monday primetime on China's flagship channel.
The 24-episode series, which will premiere on CCTV-1, will celebrate PRC's 70th anniversary and take an in-depth look at the country's history.
The series, guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, will explore the period of socialist revolution, construction, and reform of socialism led by the Communist Party of China in the past 70 years.
According to Xinhua, the show will feature touching stories and important events along the country's development, showcasing how hundreds of millions of Chinese people worked tirelessly on the road to socialism, and demonstrate the nation's great leaps from its foundation to become a strong nation today.
It will help the public to understand the development of New China.
