Squad leader Jia Yuanyou is known as such a sharp shooter. He once fired four shells through a single hole target from 1,200 meters away.
The expert in wireless communication, artillery control and tank driving, who come up with 15 remedies for cartridge jams and 50 ideas to improve tank gears, will now turn his aim to the 18th National CPC National Congress where he has been made a delegate.
In his 14 years of service, he has been commended as an "excellent soldier" on 13 consecutive occasions. The 32 year-old, who was named acting platoon commander four times but remained a squad leader, also earned a bachelor's degree in military science during his service.
Huang Xuhong, political commissar of Jia's division says, "He won't change his mind once he decides to do something."
