SRINAGAR, Indian-controlled Kashmir - An eight-member team from search engine giant-Google Thursday interacted with young entrepreneurs, information technology aspirants and students of Indian-controlled Kashmir, officials said Friday.

The visiting team held the interactive session with the young people at an international convocation centre in Srinagar, the region's summer capital, to understand how to make region a hub of online businesses.

"We are here to understand how Google owned technology can be made accessible to clients online," said Debu Pukayastha, Principal New Business Development, Google, adding "we are not here to invest but we are here to learn how we can create and build businesses."

The team during its visit is scheduled to interact with the local companies to help them use Google technology in making their businesses successful.

"We are holding an interactive sessions to inform developers and entrepreneurs on Google product and technology," said Pukayastha.

On Wednesday, the team visited the Business School at University of Kashmir, Srinagar and interacted with students and the faculty members.
