Former 'Destiny's Child' star Beyonce Knowles got a special pre-birthday treat after the MTV Video Music Awards, when her mother Tina cooked her favorite meal in her beau's club, for 600 guests.

The "Crazy In Love" singer who celebrated her 25th birthday on September 4, but got a special surprise when her mom teamed up with her boyfriend Jay-Z to pull off the surprise feast.

According to the New York Post, insiders have revealed that her mum spent much of that afternoon in the kitchen of Jay-Z's club,'40/40', 'cooking her secret family recipe of seafood gumbo'.

The party was a roaring success with the police outside the club on West 25th Street, forcing drivers to stop their cars for inspection as they went by.
