Feng Xiaogang and Bai Baihe win big at 23rd Beijing College Student Film Festival

The 23rd Beijing College Student Film Festival closed on Sunday at Olympic Sports Center, with director Feng Xiaogang and actress Bai Baihe going home with the top awards.

Fourteen prizes, each representing film preferences of today's college students, were awarded to works with "vitality, taste and cultural consciousness" at the ceremony. Director Feng won Best Actor for his performance in Mr. Six, and Bai for her role in Go Away, Mr. Tumor! Cannes-winner Jia Zhangke's Mountains May Depart won Best Director, and kung fu epic Master was declared Best Film.
