Many Chinese men living in rural areas used to marry Vietnamese females when they couldn't find Chinese brides. But now it seems they have another option: Laotian women.
"She helps me wash clothes, sweep floors and sometimes even cooks meals. She is a good helper," said mother-in-law of Laotian wife nicknamed Atong.
