Hisense Electric Co Ltd, one of China's leading electronics and household appliances producers, said its profit rose nearly 90 percent in the first half of this year due to booming flat-panel TV sales.
Bank of Communications, one of the largest mainland-based commercial lenders, on Wednesday reported a net profit of 15.6 billion yuan ($2.3 billion) for the six months ended June 30.
