Combines shuttle across fields wheat harvest peaks in coastal Shandong city

As the summer wheat harvest peaks, the coastal city of Rongcheng in Weihai, Shandong province is working against the clock to bring in the grain before the rainy season arrives.
Unlike inland areas, Rongcheng's wheat matures later due to its peninsula geography and maritime climate. On Thursday, combines were seen shuttling across wheat fields in Shangzhuang town, speeding up the harvest to ensure every grain is collected and dried in time.
