China Coast Guard conducts rights-protection patrol near Diaoyu Island

China Coast Guard said that it patrolled the territorial waters of Diaoyu Island and its affiliated islets on Wednesday.
The CCG said in a brief statement on Wednesday afternoon that the patrol was conducted by a task group led by the CCG vessel Taizhou.
It noted that the patrol was a rights-protection operation carried out in accordance with the law.
