Ningxia drama park debuts with 36 productions and heritage workshops
A drama park made its public debut on Wednesday during a media open day in Minning town, Ningxia Hui autonomous region, as part of a broader effort to integrate cultural tourism with rural revitalization.
The park features 36 theatrical productions. Set to open on July 1 after a trial run, it provides intangible cultural heritage workshops, such as brick carving and puppetry, and an immersive art experience evoking the region's water-scarce past.
The park also hosts a live operation of an e-commerce workshop, a globally recognized poverty alleviation case highlighting local women's entrepreneurship.
Leveraging red tourism resources, the site offers study tours and educational programs, alongside exhibition halls documenting the town's collaborative achievements with Fujian province in poverty alleviation and migration history.
