Shanghai Education Expo to open on May 22
The 23rd Shanghai Education Expo 2026 will kick off at the Shanghai Exhibition Center on May 22.
The three-day exhibition will convene over 120 educational institutions and enterprises across seven themed zones.
Key highlights include Shanghai University's emerging engineering and liberal arts, Hefei University of Technology's electronic information model powered by Huawei Ascend in higher education zone, Suzhou Top Institute's job-guaranteed training program and Wuxi Meili Middle School's AI-driven fitness monitoring program in the Yangtze River Delta zone.
A series of events will run alongside the exhibition, including educational seminars, vocational activities and student performances.
The online exhibition will also be launched simultaneously and remain accessible via the Shanghai Education Expo mini program until the end of June.
Starting May 27, a short video series featuring education bureau directors from Shanghai's 16 districts will be released, showcasing regional educational development achievements on campus.
