A group of 40 teachers and students from Vistamar School in the United States visited Qingdao Changjiang School on Thursday in Jimo district, Qingdao, Shandong province. They immersed themselves in traditional Chinese culture, trying their hand at calligraphy and paper-cutting, and experiencing the elegant sounds of the guzheng (a traditional Chinese zither). They also joined their Chinese peers in basketball games and martial arts activities.
The highlight of the day came as students from both countries gathered to make jiaozi together, sharing laughter and conversation along the way.
