Chinese, US high school basketball teams face off in Chongqing

On Tuesday afternoon, two spirited basketball matches between teams from China and the United States concluded the 2026 Sino-US Youth Sports Festival, which ran from March 27 to 31 in Chongqing's Yuzhong district.
The event brought together a delegation of basketball players and coaches from 10 high schools from around Sacramento, the capital of California, the United States, along with participants from six high schools in Chongqing. Chongqing Bashu Secondary School faced off against the California Blue, and Chongqing No 29 Secondary School went head-to-head with the California Gold.
