UniCom showcases achievements at MWC2026 to empower global industrial digital upgrading
2. Digital-Real Integration – empowering global industrial scenarios with 5G innovation
In the "Digital-Real Integration" section, UniCom focused on the deep integration of 5G technology and industrial scenarios, showcasing benchmark cases in sectors like Smart Manufacturing, Intelligent Warehousing and Logistics, Smart Mining, smart ports, Smart Park, Overseas Business Startup, smart finance, smart healthcare, and smart events.
At the exhibition, UniCom demonstrated its end-to-end global service capabilities through the lens of a car's global journey. In Southeast Asia's automotive assembly bases, UniCom assists clients in building 5G fully connected factories, enabling hundreds of AGVs (automated guided vehicles) to work in sync and allowing AI quality inspection to function with eagle-eyed precision, achieving highly flexible smart manufacturing. When vehicles are shipped to overseas ports like Valencia, Spain, UniCom's smart warehousing system — powered by its cloud-network platform — helps enterprises manage overseas inventory in real time, enabling precise and rapid distribution. After vehicle delivery, the built-in UniCom Connected Car SIM ensures continuous global connectivity, supporting smart in-vehicle applications and OTA upgrades. From assembling auto parts to final delivery, UniCom provides comprehensive integrated services, becoming a reliable partner for global business expansion.
Feng Lanxiao, China Unicom Global Limited chairman and CEO, and Dean of the UniCom (Hong Kong) Innovation Research Institute, noted in an interview with the media: "At this year's MWC, UniCom's IoV (Internet of Vehicles) solutions have received extensive attention and high recognition from overseas customers. Drawing on our years of accumulated global operation experience and high-quality data infrastructure, we have built a complete set of mature and replicable IoV business solutions, which can be quickly reused by automakers and greatly shorten the cycle for their overseas business implementation. Meanwhile, by virtue of our global roaming network and extensive partner ecosystem, UniCom has deployed connection management platforms in major overseas regions, which fully supports eSIM connectivity and complies with the regulatory requirements of the EU and other regions. At present, UniCom has developed global network deployment, localized operation and maintenance, and end-to-end delivery for comprehensive integrated service capabilities. We can quickly respond to the needs of overseas automakers and fully support automakers in going global."
The exhibition area also showcased the comprehensive UniCom Intelligent Terminal Ecosystem, centered around the integration of "Network-Cloud-Intelligence-Terminal-Application". This ecosystem uses terminals as the entry point, cloud and network as the foundation, and AI as the engine, creating a three-tier core ecosystem comprising in-depth customization, preferred cooperation, and strategic collaboration. Through independent and deep customization, UniCom has developed robust terminal products like AI Cloud Phones and AI cameras. By fostering open cooperation, it promotes the integration of digital technology into diverse fields such as healthcare, elderly care, and education. On the supply chain side, the Tone Huigou and Pan-Terminal Alliance Cloud Platform serve over 150,000 corporate customers and more than 30,000 agents — with annual sales exceeding 40 billion yuan — providing efficient inventory and logistics support for UniCom’s partners. Technically, UniCom boasts professional laboratories for eSIM, smart home terminals, and more, offering comprehensive testing and security risk control from hardware to SIM cards. From the overarching ecological blueprint to home scenario implementation, and core technology and service support, UniCom is partnering with global allies to explore new opportunities in the Internet of Everything.
