UniCom showcases achievements at MWC2026 to empower global industrial digital upgrading
Under the theme "Co-creating an Intelligent Digital Ecosystem", UniCom presented its achievements in Computing Network-Based Digital Infrastructure, Digital-Real Integration, and Innovation-Driven Future at the 2026 Mobile World Congress (MWC), which took place in Barcelona, Spain, from March 2 to 5.
As a leading global provider of integrated digital service, UniCom focuses on key areas such as 5G innovation, AI computing, and UniCom Cloud upgrades. It showcased its technological strength and service capabilities, reinforcing its role in supporting global connectivity and industrial digital transformation, while underscoring the responsibility and commitment of Chinese telecommunications companies.
1. Computing Network-Based Digital Infrastructure – building the backbone for global digital and intelligent transformation
In the "Computing Network-Based Digital Infrastructure" zone, UniCom emphasized strengthening the infrastructure essential for global digital and intelligent transformation. It highlighted new integrated intelligent computing infrastructure and AI-powered global network achievements, showcasing its core strength of computing and network integration.
At MWC, UniCom's interactive electronic sand table displayed its extensive global network connections, attracting many visitors. Currently, UniCom has deployed over 60 international submarine cable systems, with a total length capable of circling the Earth 17 times and a capacity exceeding 240T+. This forms the backbone of the network covering the Asia-Pacific and Asia-Europe-Africa regions. On land, the network's capacity is nearly 60T, complementing the submarine cables to create a coordinated, resilient layout — establishing a high-quality Asia-Europe network. Unicom has integrated resources from over 200 global partner operators and established 16 overseas call center service nodes. Through platforms like BPO and Cloud SMS, it offers innovative services, such as intelligent voice analysis, digital agents, and AI customer support, enabling a convenient "single-point access, global coverage" experience.
UniCom actively explores AI applications in networks. Through digitalization and intelligent scenarios, it enhances network efficiency, reinforcing network quality, and ensuring safe and stable operations. With "connection" as the foundation, it anticipates future needs, iterates communication technologies, and builds an intelligent network foundation, covering space, air, ground, and sea. This promotes 5G's deep integration into industrial applications, brings gigabit broadband to households, and enables satellite internet to bridge geographical divides, thus enhancing the "neural network" of economic and social development.
