"The eagle bone flute is my life-long passion," said Aikebaier, once a dancer and now a drummer in Tashikurgan Tajik autonomous county, China's Xinjiang. In his spare time, he practices the flute, records its melodies, performs for friends, and teaches children. His dream is to let more people know this Tajik instrument, an intangible cultural heritage of China, and bring its sound to the world.
