Hubei medical team departs Shanghai

A 1,091-strong medical team from Hubei province departed Shanghai by train on Tuesday after completing its mission of aiding the latter's fight against the latest COVID-19 outbreak.
The team from Hubei handled more than 13,500 infected cases during its time in the city. Another 134-member team is scheduled to return to Hubei on June 10. It will be the last medical team to leave the city.
Official figures show that some 50,000 healthcare workers around the country provided aid to Shanghai during the latest outbreak.
