2 dead, 4 missing in landslides in China's Chongqing

CHONGQING -- Two people were dead and another four were missing in landslides caused by heavy rain in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality, local authorities said Thursday.
Downpour started to lash Kaizhou district in Chongqing early Thursday, with the cumulative rainfall exceeding 100 mm in some townships, causing multiple landslides and road collapses.
Search and rescue efforts are underway.
