Standing side by side, as they have for 50 years, Mr and Mrs Lee blow out the candles. It was a triple celebration for Senior Minister Lee Kuan Yew as he launched the second volume of his memoirs, celebrated his 77th birthday, and received the first global integrity medal for his efforts in fighting corruption in Singapore.
