HONG KONG - Former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir bin Mohamad said here Friday that the Occupy Central Movement is not democracy.
After giving a speech entitled "ASEAN in Sino-American Geopolitics", Mahathir said it is not democracy if you don't have the majority of people to support you. He added that people now occupying the streets are a small group and they are forcing the majority to agree on their views, which is not democracy.
