WASHINGTON - A strong aftershock measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale hit Chile on Monday, the US Geological Survey said.

The latest tremor occurred at 08:08 a.m. (1108 GMT) 110 km northwest of Chile's second-largest Concepcion, which was rocked by an 8.8-magnitude earthquake on February 27.
