Zhan Hongli is the presiding judge of the juvenile court in Yanping district of Nanping city. During her nine-year career, she has helped more than 300 juvenile offenders return to schools and at least 70 young people find jobs after they were released from prison. She has prevented over 70 families from breaking apart. Many juveniles brought to trial by Zhan fondly call her Mama Judge.
