Heat wave is sweeping across northern China on Wednesday. Some regions reached 40 degrees Celsius.

The temperature in Hebei province reached 38 degrees and above and Several cities even went above 40 degrees Celsius.

In Tianjin, regional temperature on Wednesday reached a record high of 39 degrees, while ultraviolet radiation reached its highest level. The city government has issued an orange-level heat warning.

Meanwhile in Shanxi, the provincial meteorological bureau also issued its first orange-level warning of the year,。

Several other provinces and regions, including Shanxi, Hubei, Xinjiang and Anhui, are experiencing a heat wave.
