88m-high sightseeing lift gives stunning views

An 88-meter high sightseeing lift stands beside a cliff in a scenic spot in Jianshi county, Hubei province, Aug 25, 2015, Chinanews.com reported.

The construction of the transparent lift began in June 2011 and was completed in 2013, at a cost of nearly 10 million yuan ($1.6 million dollars). It allows tourists to see spectacular views without enduring the tough climb up the cliff.
