To draw out his ex-wife, man threatens to drown daughter in lake

A man from north China may be called one of the worst dads in the world: To force his ex-wife out of hiding, he plunged their daughter's head under water and threatened to drown her in a lake Friday afternoon, qq.com reported.

Once local residents saw the terrifying scene unfold, they immediately called police.

After failing to negotiate with the man, police and firefighters jumped into the water to rescue the child and arrest her father.
