Husband keeps wife's body to be near her

A man in Deyang, Sichuan province, has spent about 10,000 yuan ($1,611) to buy an ice coffin to keep his late wife inside it since last December and talks with her every night before he goes to sleep, reported scnews.newssc.org on May 13.

The man and his late wife were used to be a happy couple. However, a fatal illness struck her and they promised each other they will never separate. That's why the man has kept his wife's body in the house to keep the promise.

According to regulations, the body should be kept for no more than five days before cremation. The widower's action may be sweet in some way but violate the regulations already.
