Husband pre-cooks a year's meals for wife

A PLA officer based in Tibet, who prepared a whole year's meals and snacks for his wife before returning to his camp has moved many netizens, qq.com reported.

The husband, Yin Yunfeng, is a military officer stationed in the Tibet autonomous region, and comes back home only once a year, while his wife, surnamed Zhao, is a middle school teacher in Anshui, Guizhou province, and has little time to cook.

According to the report, Yin cooked all kinds of home-made dishes, packing them in the refrigerator for his wife one week before leaving.

Besides, Yin also hides snacks all around the house for his wife, with each package accompanied by a handwritten note. He sends text messages to tell her where to find the snacks.

One note reads, "I hope I can get home when you finish eating these”.

With the various kinds of food stored in the fridge, Zhao said she can just warm anything she wants up in the microwave when she needs to eat.

"I didn't expect we would be parting for months every year when I married him, but I support his work. My heart feels warm when I see the food he's prepared for me," Zhang said.
