New smart glass released in China
A new smart eyewear was released on Nov 29 during the on-going China International Industrial Design Fair in Shenzhen, Guangdong province.
The gadget, named REED, can carry out various tasks, including making phone calls, navigating GPS, taking photos and texting. It has better display and longer battery life compared with Google Glass, according to its designer. The core technology behind the gadget has been created by a team from China and its appearance designed by Stefano Giovannoni, a well-known Italian designer. The REED will be priced at one-third of the Google Glass.
