Argentina's Leandro Cufre karate kicks German defender Per Mertesacker during their 2006 World Cup quarterfinal in Berlin, Germany, June 30, 2006. Unused substitute Cufre attacked Mertesacker after the two had an argument. Cufre was sent off sparking a melee, with Oliver Bierhoff trying to restore order and Argentina's players taking offence at his intervention.
