The world No 1 is pictured at a press conference on Wednesday when Honge Industrial was named as the title sponsor. Hendry went on to play an exhibition against Chinese wild card Li Yuan, which he won 4-0 with a top break of 126. Home favourite Ding Junhui has also been speaking to media and was asked about his draw against Ronnie O'Sullivan at the 888.com World Snooker Championship. "It's unlucky for me to finally get through to the Crucible and to draw Ronnie in my first match," said the Northern Ireland Trophy champion, who celebrates his 20th birthday on April 1, the day of the final in Beijing. "It's a shame that one of us has to go out in the first round, but it will be a great match." The Honghe Industrial 2007 World Snooker China Open starts on Monday. |
