China wins three titles at Malaysia Open badminton

China's shuttlers won three titles here on Sunday as the 2007 Malaysia Open badminton championship came to its end at the Kuala Lumpur Badminton Stadium.
China's Zhu Lin won the women's singles title after beating Wong Mew Choo of Malaysia 21-15, 21-12 in 42 minutes.
Chinese duo of Gao Ling/Huang Sui retained their women's doubles title after beating the Indonesian pair of Greysa Polii/Vita Marissa 19-21, 21-12, 21-11.
Chinese pair Zheng Bo/Gao Ling conquered Denmark's Nathan Robertson/Gail Emms 2-0, taking away the champion title in the mixed doubles.
However, China's renowned male shuttler Bao Chunlai lost to his strong Danish opponent Peter Gade in the men's singles final 15-21, 21-17, 14-21.
Malaysia's Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong emerged as champions in men's doubles, beating the American-Indonesian combination of Tony Gunawan and Candra Wijaya.
The Malaysian Open is the first leg of the Badminton World Federation's Super Series tour. The second leg will be held in South Korea.
