Host China will send a 234-member delegation to the sixth Asian Winter Games slated for January 28 to February 4 in Changchun, capital city of Jilin province, it was announced by the organization committee.

The delegation will include 156 athletes, 40 coaches and 17 officials.

The Chinese delegation will take part in skiing events, short track speed skating, figure skating, speed skating, ice hockey and curling.

Among the participants are world champions Han Xiaopeng, Wang Manli, Wang Meng, Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo.

South Korea, Japan and Kazakhstan will also field strong lineup to the Winter Asiad. South Korea will send a 151-member delegation to Changchun while Japan and Kazakhstan have 137-member and 134-member delegations to the Games respectively.
