Both sides exchanged ideas on how to build the company's R&D center and flight training center in the city's Liangjiang New Area.

Chen Lyuping, introduced that the aviation industry in Chong has enjoyed sound development in recent years, as the city has seized opportunities through the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative and Yangtze River Economic Belt.

Chongqing is to build itself into an airline hub in western China and the aviation industry in the Liangjiang New Area has laid the foundation for further development. China Express's R&D center will help Liangjiang cultivate aviation talent, according to Chen.

Hu Xioajun said that China Express holds an optimistic view toward its cooperation with Chongqing. The company has built an operational base in Chongqing since 2014 and has now constructed an aviation network centered in the southwestern region of China.
