A comprehensive management system for resettlement housing in the Liangjiang New Area, Chongqing is being tested and is expected to go into service this month, local authorities said on July 7.

The system has a gigantic database of over 80,000 items pertaining to relocatees and housing management and financial records of some 30,000 residents who have moved out of the Longxing Industrial Development Zone since May 2016.

To better manage the data and avoid manual errors, the zone partnered with a famous software developer who spent seven months perfecting the information input system.
