Liangjiang's is set to benefit from 31 investment projects worth 2.15 billion yuan ($327 million) signed on June 15.

One project will involve Shanghai Baosight Software Corporation opening their Southwest China headquarter in Liangjiang New Area. The new branch will provide personalized cloud computing services and big data to promote the industrial transformation of enterprises in the area.

Baosight is the IT software arm of Baosteel Group, which owns Baoshan Iron and Steel Co Ltd, China's largest and most advanced integrated steel manufacturer.

The registered capital of the new company is 30 million yuan, with the total investment expected to reach 200 million.
