A promotional event promoting Shaanxi province to the rest of the world, was held in Beijing on July 5.

Lou Qinjian, secretary of the provincial Party committee and secretary of the standing committee of the provincial people’s congress, addressed the audience andspoke about Shaanxi’s history, culture and socio-economic development.

Hu Heping, governor of Shaanxi province and deputy secretary of the provincial Party committee, delivered a keynote speech in which he summarized Shaanxi’s characteristics as being spectacular, historic, abundant, active, nice, with a promising outlook and an international future.
