Longmen Grottoes northeast service zone to open

The northeast service zone of Longmen Grottoes is currently under construction. It is an important part of the Longmen Grottoes service promotion project.

The service zone is located east of Longmen North Bridge, south of Longgu Road and west of Yidong Canal. It has a large parking lot spanning 180,000 square meters, a visitor service center of 6,050 square meters and 6,500 square meters of surrounding shops. The total investment for the service zone is 100 million yuan ($16 million). Its visitor service center, parking lot and various shops are expected to open before Peony Festival.
