The "Yangtze River" exhibition presented by Zeng Nian, Wu Song and Song Gang, has the theme, "Man and the River".

In recent years, Chengdu has welcomed both traditional and contemporary arts by frequently hosting exhibitions.

"The Picasso exhibition just concluded in Chengdu and the 2012 Festival Croisements' exhibition is coming. This indicates that Chengdu is increasing its cultural impact globally," said Tang Jiqiang, director of the strategic development planning bureau of the Chengdu Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone. "We will organize more international cultural communications and create new avenues for industrial development and cultural upgrades."
