CHENGDU - Representatives from the the Shanghai Expo Bureau presented the Shanghai Expo Executive Committee's highest honor award disc to the Sichuan Sunfor Light Co.,LTD in the Chengdu High-tech West Zone, in?Chengdu, capital city of Southwest China’s Sichuan province on Tuesday.

The move is aimed at honoring the company for its outstanding contribution to the Shanghai Expo. Only three companies worldwide have received the disk. The other two are the international lighting giant GE (General Electric) and China Bank of Communications, according to the bureau.

Sunfor made 2,732 full-color LED lights for the Shanghai Expo. Nothing was wrong with any light during the six-month expo.

Thanks to its technological innovation, sound management and marketing, Sunfor was on the list of promising Chinese enterprises in the Chinese version of Forbes 2011, becoming the only non-listed Sichuan company on the list.
