Born on July 5, 1976, Gaohong graduated from the economics and management department of Qingdao Technological University. She used to be a vice manager of administration at the Qingdao InterContinental Hotel and has studied the English language and customs. In 2008, she served as a volunteer of the Olympic Sailing Regatta.
"Qingdao represents China. I know that this challenge is significant, and it will be the new milestone of my life,” Gao Hong said.
