Sirga, a 50 kg lioness, hugs Mikkel Legarth, a conservationist who saved and raised her in the wilds of Botswana, southern Africa, in an undated photo. As a cub, Sirga was driven out of her habitat and rescued by Valentin Gruener and Legarth, who were working nearby on their Modisa Wildlife Project, an initiative to save the region's lion population.
