Three carriages of a train carrying hazardous chemical adiponitrile ran off the rails on Monday morning in Hefei, East China's Anhui province. Adiponitrile is a viscous, colorless liquid and an important precursor to polymer nylon. It is flammable and can release poisonous gases if set on fire.
