'Lonely' singleton Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman was a "lonely" woman when she met Keith Urban. The 41-year-old actress - who gave birth to Sunday Rose, her first child with husband Keith, in July - was tired of being unlucky in love before she was introduced to country singer Keith.

Nicole, who is divorced from Tom Cruise, said: "My husband Keith is the most important person in my life, and I am for him. We were two lonely people who met at a time when we could open ourselves up to each other. "We were a mixture of brave and frightened.

Since getting married, I have passed up a lot of projects. I don't want to be away from the person I love. Home is in my husband's arms." Nicole also revealed she is a huge fan of gardening, and says it helps her remain grounded.

She added: "My new hobby is gardening - I love it! It's the Kidman women's hobby. My mum and sister are both keen gardeners but it's a path I had never taken before. "Keith and I have a farm with organic vegetables in Tennessee. We are based there because of Keith's work, so we are this hybrid now we call Tennessean Aussies. It's a small club!"
