Cofferdam for Three Gorges Dam to be demolished

Chinese workers clear the floating garbage in the cofferdam originally built for protecting the just-completed Three Gorges Dam on June 5, 2006. The cofferdam is scheduled to be demolished on June 6 to ensure the safety and the normal operation of the Three Gorges Dam.[Xinhua]
