As it is, foreigners in China are often given a menu that contains higher pricing. I don't trust any Chinese restaurant that does not display prices and I have learnt to check everything carefully before I pay, taking a picture of the menu to ensure I am not cheated. At home, all prices must be displayed outside the restaurant.

I’ve lived in China for quite a considerable time including my graduate school years, travelled and worked in a few cities and still choose my destination taking into consideration the density of smog or PM2.5 particulate matter in the region.
