Unfortunately, yes...if the cost is no problem, Chinese students will go abroad for education. A broad and balanced education is in the West, where initiative and a love of learning is the ethos. Such a pity that such fortunate students later choose to stay abroad instead of bringing their skills, attitudes and knowledge back to their home country. Attitudes about education in China are difficult to change. Test test test, study study study, more tests, no life!

Going abroad is a character-building experience.It helps experience other cultures, promotes mutual international understanding, it can be a good way to meet contacts for future business ventures, it can improve languages, it can broaden their experiences helping them find their calling in life, it helps people see things from a different perspective.
